Smoke Break Shenanigans|| Kusanagi & Subaru

Kusanagi had to say that HOMRA being home base for the clan was not something he wanted or nor planned for but it was better than nothing. The thing is he should be used to all the things that have happened to his poor bar, glasses breaking, windows breaking, a mini fire once and worse of all scratches on his poor antique counter. Sometimes he wished he could burn it all down so he wouldn’t have to deal with it anymore. And as much as he loved his clan, he despised how much ruckus they caused to his poor bar. He had enough with dealing with everything today that he just needed a break from it all.
Kusanagi flips a sign that says “will be back in 20 minutes” before he walks out the front door and locks it up. He then head to a nearby alley to rest before he grabs his pack of cigarettes from his pocket and his lighter. He lights it and sighs before pressing it to his lips.
It felt like a peaceful moment but only for a few seconds when suddenly he hears grunts, shouts and then the sound of punching and kicking. He gets out of the alley to spot a poor male getting mugged. He clicks his tongue before igniting his lighter and aura, making a fiery whip towards the muggers.
“Not in front of my bar, assholes!” he says angrily before creating another fiery whip at them. They seem to have get the message and quickly dropped the items and run away. Kusanagi then walks towards the poor boy and offers a hand. “Looks like they won’t be messing with you for now on. You okay?”
Hands raised squarely above his head, Subaru found himself backed into a corner and surrounded by a group of street thugs. In all, there were about five of them banded together, encircling him and forcing his back up against the alley wall as they closed in. Their menacing sneers, and the weapons they brandished made their violent intentions clear. Furthermore, they had managed to back him into the alley, where passersby were significantly less likely to take notice of the situation and intervene. In short, Subaru had his back against the wall both literally and in the metaphorical sense.

Helping the injured boy he sighs. He really let himself get this injured. It looked rather bad and Kusanagi was debating on whether he should take him the hospital or just help him clean him up a bit. He quickly decides on the ladder as he didn’t have a ride to the hospital as of right now.
“Well, I’m glad you aren’t dead too. Let’s go to HOMRA bar, I’ll get you cleaned up and a fresh meal. I think you deserve that at least” he says with a kind smile. “I’m Kusanagi Izumo but please just call me Kusanagi-san. Everyone calls me that” he says, event hough he knew there was only a few people who called him by his first name, most of which weren’t alive.
He let the boy lean on him as he walked themselves to the bar that thankfully was not even a block away. HOMRA the sign above the bar read. Kusanagi gathers his keys with one hand before unlocking the door. “Don’t worry I own this bar so its not like I stole the keys or anything” he jokes.
Once inside, Kusanagi places the boy on the booth near the window. “I’ll be right back. Stay put” he says before heading to the kitchen to grab a towel and a frozen steak. He wraps the towel around the steak and hands it to the boy. “Here put this on wherever you think needs it most, I’ll get you water” he says before going to do that. Kusanagi had tended many injuries before but none of which looked this bad. Still he didn’t have a ride and he wasn’t about to ask Seri for one. He ponders the idea but decides not to call her.
“You can spend a few nights here if you want or I can call you a taxi later. Whichever you prefer is fine with me. Anyways Im going to whip you up some dinner. So just try not to move too much but if you need to use the bathroom please call me” he says before he heads off to the kitchen.
