I made a tumblr acount to yell about the owl house but IDK where to start

Here’s a screencap I already had saved so I guess I’ll start here. Luz knocks Amity into the mud and without a single word flops down into the mud herself. She recognizes that Amity would be uncomfortable/embarrassed be being muddy so she just quietly sits in the mud in solidarity.  Luz does so many little things to make Amity feel safe/comfortable and thats why she falls for Luz. I don’t think Amity has ever had someone she trusts enough to be vulnerable in front of. Ed and Em love her, but they tease her/pick on her. She cares about them but she can’t be vulnerable to them.

When Luz makes Amity repeat “we can do this together” that’s a super vulnerable moment for Amity. She’s uncomfortable, but she wants to try because she wants to trust Luz. She is trying so hard to be open and vulnerable. I’ve seen a lot of talk about love language. Amity’s love language is being vulnerable/letting people in. Without knowing it Luz is the first person to break down Amity’s walls, and make her feel safe. That’s why Amity is scared. Being vulnerable when you’re the kind of person to put up walls is terrifying. She knows she has put her whole heart in Luz’s hands and Luz doesn’t know. Immediately after this she starts to try and explain to Luz what happened between her and Willow but gets distracted by the inner Willow. Luz gets annoyed with her and shuts Amity down.

the next time they talk about it Amity has closed off again. She tried being Vulnerable and Luz shut it down, so she’s not letting it happen again. Instead she gets mad at Luz for prying (which kind of fair but also it’s your own damned fault you’re here Amity)  I’d like to point out that she says “friends” she’s including herself as Luz’s friend and expressing that what Luz sees in these memories is her life too. She is showing Luz her history. Another thing is she seems receptive to Luz until she says “I’m just here to help willow” I think she heard “willow is my friend, I’m here for her not you” and that’s when her walls come right back up. hopefully I’m not too rambly. I just want to ramble. I promise not all my posts will be lumity but grom has my hyped for this ship

     Who in the bloody void placed the flower vases so high up?! too proud to get a stepstool. too stubborn to ask for help. teyrna eleanor cousland would simply ( well not entirely so simple ) attempt to reach as best she could. rolling to the tips of her toes and stretching as much as she could to the high shelf. there came a slightly surprised sound from her when a hand came to effortlessly pluck the vase off the shelf. brown eyes flecked with dusky sunlight would follow the vase and softly smile to the one holding it.

    ❝ oh, thank you, darling. ❞   relief marks her features. more so in the fact it wasn’t bryce. no doubt he would tease her to no end. not that she fully minded it. however in the moment she was far too frustrated in her endeavor. in a sigh she presses out the distressed ruffles of her dress with her hands, straightening her posture to glance up at her son. 

                 ❝ and just when did you get so tall? ❞  eyes squint but there’s a slight grin upon her lips. ❝ i swear every time i turn around you’ve sprouted another foot. ❞  a light chuckle and she would take the vase then nods to a flower arrangement upon the counter.                   ❝ alright, enough with my old, nostalgic heart. be a dear and carry over that bouquet. your aunt lynn and company are coming by and she’s so accustomed to wildflowers about. ❞   said with almost a hint of annoyance to how particular her family could be. but still she would strive with her quintessential smile; whatever the case.

Revanelan had been watching the healer work for some time - it was not often that the Inquisitor ‘graced them with her presence’, as one of the other young women had stammered, clearly flustered. Although the Inquisitor had dismissed her, still, she stood nearby, fretting over some supplies that were just fine when Revan arrived. She pays no mind to the woman, frown settling in the corner of her lips as she contemplates just how to approach the one she had been told about.

Finally, the ‘Herald’ steps forward, making her way earnestly to the deaf elf’s side. Reaching out, she taps the young woman on the shoulder to get her attention before signing her greeting. 

‘Hello. My name is Revanelan. I have been told you are one of our best healers. It is a pleasure to meet you.’

he’d known, of course, that josephine’s younger sister was here. she’d mentioned it, during a meeting with the inquisitor; something about her youngest sibling joining the inquisition forces at skyhold. he knew, but he hadn’t had the opportunity to interact with her — until he meets her gaze on his way from josephine’s office. ( he’d been there to discuss a few minor things that couldn’t wait until the next war table meeting; nothing too important, but nothing that could wait until the inquisitor returns. )

the resemblance is there, enough that it should be safe to assume she's josephine's sister — given she’s probably on her way to come speak to their ambassador, actually. he doesn’t want to assume as to why she’s there; he’s been drilled enough on avoiding a faux pas with anyone here.   “ you must be... lady montilyet? ”   he gives her a slight nod, brow furrowed; they could use more candles in here, but at least it's brighter than darktown was. these hallways can be pretty dark.   “ it’s — a pleasure to meet you. cullen rutherford, commander of the inquisition’s forces. are you, er, here to see your sister? ”
