Ok, so idk if someone’s already done this but-

Y’know how frisk always has their eyes shut, and chara narrates?

What if that’s bc frisk is blind or smth??

I don’t think this is canon, but it may explain things like “BEHOLD! A snowpuff!” 

It might just be Chara being sarcastic(which I would also love)

But I would love an AU where Frisk is blind, and Chara helps them see.

Papyrus: “*I- I THINK---”

Papyrus, in a quieter and more hesitant tone: “*I think we should stop trying to hunt them.”

Papyrus, continuing in the same tone: “*They’re--”

To the right there are two panels, stack on one another. In the top panel frisk and monster kid still hide in the grass. Frisk is pulling up their hood to hide more, while monster kid looks up at where papyrus and Undyne is talking off screen, worriedly. 

Undyne says something that cannot be heard/read. 

Papyrus back to his usual volume and protesting: “*BUT UNDYNE! THEY’RE NICE!”

The narrator: “huh.”

The monster kid, whispering uncertainly: “a human?”

In the next panel, frisk is smiling a little, even while lowering themselves into the grass while the monster kid presumably follows the movement of the Undyne’s movements off screen with continued confusion and uncertainty. 

Papyrus: “YOU’LL UNDERSTAND ONCE YOU MEET THEM--”

Undyne cuts off Papryus with unintelligible yelling. 

Papyrus, louder: “UNDYNE!!”

The narrator, commenting on the ongoings: “he defended you.”

The narrator, again as Undyne presumably leaves: “oh, there she goes.”

Monster kid, whispering: “She’s the one I wanted you to see, cause she stays around waterfall!”

Narrator, faintly in the background: “*What.” “*ROYAL GUARD?!” “*Those are the monsters hunting you--”

The narrator is cut off, in the next panel Papyrus is in the forefront, shadowed and sweating slightly. In the background, the monster kid and frisk are small and visible in the grass under the cliff that papyrus is standing on. 

Papyrus: “H-HI UNDYNE!”

The Narrator, faintly: “*Oh.”

Monster kid, whispering excitedly: “YOOOoooo-- its a royal guard meetup!!”

In the next long panel to the right, the point of view shifts so that Frisk and the Monster Kid is in the foreground, while the cliff towers behind them, a back-lit papyrus and armored Undyne visible on the very top. Frisk attempts to cover their head with both hands, the left still holding their walking stick. Frisk is visibly nervous and sweating, crouching further into the long grass. Meanwhile the Monster kid next to them gazes upwards towards the Royal Guards in awe. 

Papyrus, with a slightly wavering voice: “IM HERE WITH MY DAILY REPORT...”

Papyrus, once again: “UH... REGARDING THAT HUMAN I CALLED YOU ABOUT EARLIER...”

The narrator and frisk respond to the loud ongoing conversation with ellipses.

The monster kid, in awe, whispers: “yoooo.....”
