Does anyone know of or can reccommend any Severitus fics where Harry is sorted into Hufflepuff??

Also, are there any fics where Harry is sorted into Hufflepuff and he is blind in one eye because the curse scar goes down one side of his face through his eye?

It was Rowena who charmed the portraits to move, so that they could guide students with visual impairments throughout the castle. It is because of Ravenclaw that the knights of armor spring to life to assist students with disabilities who are prone to falls or seizures. She ensured that the stairs transform to ramps or escalators for those who are struggling to climb. If a staircase changes while a student with a disability is climbing, it is because they are finding the shortest route to class.

It was Helga who instilled in her House Elves the importance of ensuring that no child go hungry at Hogwarts. Naturally, as school population diversified,Halal, Kosher, vegetarian and vegan options were available upon request. Those fasting or abstaining for religious reasons were also catered for.

It was Helga that created the Room of Requirement. It was a sanctuary for kids who were uncomfortable sharing a sex-segregated dorm. It was a place that kids of the same faith would come together to worship. It was a place for kids with sensory disabilities or mental health issues to find peace and quiet. It was a place where kids can celebrate their culture through dance, music and games.

Thanks to these wonderful women, generations of children have happily called Hogwarts home.

Do you have any head cannons for an alpha and omega couple where one or the other is blind? I'd love to hear a few ideas for both!

I don’t know if it will be enough but I did make three lists of headcanons for blind Alphas and Betas, one for Omegas and one for Alphas specifically which is the one I think serves your ask better. But if these are not exactly what you were looking for or you just want more just ask me again and I’ll try to come up with something ^^.

Yo how about a blind Clear headcanon????

I mean he doesn't ever truly mention what he sees, does he? If he does, it's something detectable by his other senses (like someone being in the room). He also has an exceptional sense of hearing, and his eyes are a really light color, and he did originally get scrapped because there was something wrong with him. What made me think about it though is how, when Aoba says their faces are the same, he feels Aoba's face with his hands, and his eyes don't look so focused. He probably has some kind of built-in GPS system too, so he can navigate his surroundings easily. I think it's totally 100% possible, and it just slipped under our noses this whole time. Idk, it's fun to think about.

A blind Hogwarts student who finds her own way of navigating classes such as potions, using the back of her hand held over the cauldron and the various sounds made by the potion, to help gauge temperatures. She mentally counts to get the timings right. For things like transfiguration, or charms, friends show her the wand movements by holding her hand and moving it in the correct gesture. Her books also come in braille editions. She also gets permission to bring her guide dog to school.

I LOOOOVVVEEEE the blind alpha headcanons! Do you have any for blind or deaf omegas and betas?

Sorry for taking so long to answer you, Boo. I made a blind!beta post at some point. It's quite specific given it came from an aks but I think it can meet some of your expectations still.

As for Omegas:

- Blind Omegas may experience a "poisoned by kindness" type of situation. Specially if they've lost their sight instead of being born this way. Where people see this small, fragile Omega who can't see and go out of their way to do stuff for them or help them with anything they think they need help with.

- Strangers, friends and family members mean well by doing so, and it might be helpful in the beginning, but it can quite easily get into the Omega's nerves.

- Omegas already have to deal with being perceived as more fragile on the daily (which they generally are), A blind Omega might feel double the pressure to reassure others and prove themselves as capable than most abled Omegas.

- Omegas are very touchy people by nature and I'm inclined to say that blind Omegas are double the ammount of touchy. They can't see you and scent just goes so far in matters of confort, it's fleeting and non-concrete. Feeling the heat of a loved one's body or feeling their heart-beat under their fingertips can be crucial for the confort and sense of safety of a blind Omega.

- Being very tactile people I think they're very likely to lean towards some sort of artistic expression. Sculpting, pottery, piano, violin, dancing, writting. They are sensitive and need to express their feelings somehow. I think they can find confort in art through their hands by making it an efficient way to tell the world how they feel.

- They're pickier when it comes to nest supplies, but not their appearance. They can't see it after all, so it doesn't matter if it looks like a mismatched mess, as long as it feels right everything is good.

- They are more supceptable to Alpha commands and voices tho. Alphas have to be careful to not startle them or unintentionally make them nervous, anxious or upset. Alpha voices have a way of changing an Omega's and other Alphas' demeanor. If used suddenly and without much context the blind Omega can grasp it can scare the shit out of them.
