Jaypaw clearly is very clearly determined to be the best warrior in Windclan's history. And I’m sure he’d be eager to put to practice whatever critique or advice he got, as well as anything he could think of himself. 

And, well, Harepaw just so happened to wind up on the receiving end of all of Jaypaw’s...experiments :P
