biggest fear: that people don’t like him. (I think towards the end of the series, this is tied with the fear that people don’t like him because a genuinely bad person--that his numbed reaction to the terrible shit he saw wasn’t just the Ripped Fuel, but because of him.)
favorite song/genre: gah, this is hard because he sings so much in canon, lol. also I’m bad at pinpointing musical genres. I think his favorite is punk/alternative rock in general. Fall Out Boy, Panic! at the Disco, The Gaslight Anthem make me think of Ray

some classics from my family: "shayna punim" = beautiful face :) "gey kakn" = go fuck yourself (essentially) probably others but it's hard for me to separate russian/ukrainian/yiddish from hearing all 3 throughout my childhood
