Based off @elsa-fogen 's Blinded AU

I don't actually know how Alastor would react to seeing what happens to himself in the future. But I do think that what happened (within the au) was inevitable and even if alastor knew the outcome his actions would still lead to the same result. It's just something inherent to his character, and so it's just inevitable that he would end up like this, in the same way that it's inevitable that Charlie will want to save sinners

ALSO

I have this Blinded HC that because Alastor is fully eyeball blind and he only sees through radiowaves (I'm assuming it's like a daredevil kind of thing so like "world on fire" but the world is just staticy) he starts spending more and more time in his shadow form

This also is under the assumption that when he's in his shadow form he cant see in the traditional sense (he'd see in radio waves like how he does now)

So he spends more time in his shadow form because now it doesn't have the usual drawback of not being able to see (well it does but the alternative is still not being able to see) and starts relying on his magic more and more to get around and as a substitute for his eyes

And as a result he spends less time in his physical demon form, so whenever he returns to Classic Radio Demon™ his form slowly gets distorted over time and he becomes more and more of an eldritch horror

He gets what he wants when he says "my name inspires much less fear" but just not in the way he imagined

I might want to try drawing eldritch alastor in the future except I have no idea what he looks like tbh😭😭

Alastor: I was fine before.

Charlie: But now you're even better!

Alastor: I didn't need to be better, and I didn't need your help.

Charlie: Why can't you just accept my fucking gift?

Alastor: Because I don't want it!!! I keep saying this, Charlie!!! I don't want your eye, I don't need your sacrifices, I don't. Need. You.

Charlie: God, Alastor, why do you have to be like this? I can't believe I'm related to someone like you! Ugh!

Alastor: ...Wait what now-

Charlie: Oh... Right... According to Baxter's test we're... half siblings? Still need to talk to dad about that...

Alastor: HOW THE HELL.

Gostei do design dessa AU, é bem interessante pensar em como o Vox poderia ter torturado o Alastor no tempo que ele ficou preso, essa AU explora bem até demais o quão INSANO o Vox pode ser.

Decided to try my hand at drawing/painting @elsa-fogen 's Blinded AU Alastor. Been wanting to draw him for a bit and randomly felt like doing water colour again (it's been like...3 years since I last touched it, whoops) and figured he'd be a good test subject. Ngl I forgot to sketch the pinstripes on his suit so I thought I was finished then looked back at the reference pic and said "fuck" really loud sksksh. I also realized when doing the sketch that I like 100% forgot to give him a damn cranium and looked back at my other sketchbook where I'd been trying to draw my own version of Al and realized I did the exact same thing and that's why it looked so off. But yeah I've gotten used to drawing fnaf Sun and Moon's flat dinner plate heads and have forgotten that humanoid characters do not have flat skulls. I initially did not like the lineart when I started but then I made it shaky on purpose to vary the line weight and I liked it a lot better lol. Also I was using this post as a ref so that's why I didn't include his glasses (I was also hesitent to try painting them orz)

Anyways, I love the blinded au and all the other aus you have (that I've checked out so far, there's some I haven't gone through the masterposts for yet). You have an absolutely gorgeous art style and your comic compositions are really nice. I hope you're having a good day and thanks for the random motivation to dip my hands in watercolour again.

I might make a digital version at some point for fun but overall I'm very happy with it. I think it took about 3 hours from start to finish, which honestly isn't bad at all when I'm used to my digital art racking up double digits for total drawing time 💀
