The one I have keeps hurting me and there's a little ring that's loose in it and Carey said that happened to her once, and she got cut with it.
Plus, the tape on it is coming off and I've had it for like two and a half years, so...
I just lsdkjflkjsadf I hate doing this. And it'll probably take a long time (or at least a week) to get here, so. -.-

A rant before class:
Sometimes I wish I had full vision and everything worked perfectly and I could read normal books. That'd be cool. I mean I have an assignment for Politics due tomorrow and I don't have the book and there's something in the book I gotta read and answer questions on it. D: It's called Document 78 or something (the thing I have to read). I googled it and found something but I don't know if it's the right thing. :( Ugh, why is it so hard to find books in accessible format? And I found out I have to be an administrator on my computer to install the printing software for campus, and I'm not an admin. Meaning I can't install it on my laptop from the Commission and have to wait for dumb and dumber to do it. :( WHY IS EVERYTHING GOING WRONG?
Let me be embarrassed.
During dinner, I got up to go get dessert. I couldn't really see too well what there was to take, but I noticed cobbler. There was a serving knife to get the little silver bowls of cobbler that were being served, and I put the knife thingy under the bowl to lift it up because it was on a hot plate.
Annoyingly, the thing of cobbler being balanced on the knife fell, landing upside-down and splattering all over the counter.
I swore loudly, and the guy standing next to me, watching the whole thing, reached over and asked me if I wanted him to get me another one. I said yes in a small voice, then explained how I couldn't see that well so I probably shouldn't have even tried to get the freaking cobbler.
Then a maintenance guy came over. He was all "Ohhh you made a mess!" to the guy, whose name I later found out to be Mike. I explained to the maintenance worker that it was my fault, and he said it was okay and proceeded to clean it up.
Mike handed me a new thing of cobbler and I silently and slowly walked back to where I'd been sitting with Jess and Laura - Laura had just left to attend some meeting.
It was a few moments later that I found out Mike was sitting at our same table, a couple seats down and on the other side.
Then we got back to our dorm and Jess told me he was our floor rep for Hall Government.
Just. Let. Me. Die.

I'm going to do my IT & Society term paper on Internet Accessibility for the blind/visually imapired.
This is actually something that's a huge issue and I have about ten or so sources (people I know, not counting websites and organizations) that I can cite for information.
It's a 600-word paper, due at the end of November.
I have a feeling it'll go well. :]
