jezebel-burdo: Laying in bed, finally coming to the realization that no one cares anymore. Easy to give up when everyone else has.
@jezebel-burdo: It’ll always be you and me, so why are we dreaming alone?
@jezebel-burdo: I wish I could go back in time, to the place where 'I' was 'we' and my heart didn't ache.
❝ (all of them) said they wanted change. i hope that you remain the same. to show that this is not a game, let's end this tragedy today. now, take my hand and we will run away down to this place that I know. how did this night become the enemy? it's over, it's over, it's over. ❞
AU Plot Idea: Take My Hand (based on the song by The Cab)
Muse A and Muse B are in a secret relationship together. Muse A comes from an extremely strict, upper-middle class, church going, all around a good "All-American" family. Muse B is from the "wrong side of the tracks". Their parents don't have a lot of money and they're not very strict about what Muse B does. The two young adults (or teens) manage to date for a few months without their families finding out. But one day, Muse A's sibling overhears a phone conversation and immediately tells their parents. Muse A's parents are furious about the relationship, demanding that their child end it at once. When they tell Muse B of the news, they're absolutely heartbroken. Distraught, they come up with a radical idea -- to get Muse A to run away with them. Muse B's aunt/uncle/distant relative has a house on the Atlantic Coast that they only use on vacation, and that's where they plan on taking their significant other. With very little money and just a car, Muse B convinces Muse A to give it all up for love. But will the risk be worth it?
Just like a super cute, Romeo and Juliet-esque AU plot (hopefully without the tragedy)
