[A mighty ocean (or a gentle kiss)] 👀👀
Okay, this was initially meant to be a gift but I never finished it in time so it's just. Sitting there.
“Let me see?” Hardcase lets him, because resisting would only prove Dogma was right and he can’t have that, not now. So what if he was crying? Everyone does, he’s lost count of how many times he’s caught their brothers with tears in their eyes or on their cheeks, from joy, from pain, from endless grief. The war weighs them all down every day, and the Galaxy continues on without a care for what will happen to them when this conflict ends, and maybe, just maybe, Hardcase isn’t as good as he wants to believe in keeping his shit together. But none of that matters when Dogma’s warm hands hold his cheeks so tenderly, when his eyes roam over his face and his breath ghosts over his skin as he checks Hardcase’s eyes, looking for something that he doesn’t know was never there to begin with; because the world is just a little bit brighter when Dogma is here. He shouldn’t have to worry about Hardcase hiding in a closet in the middle of his shift because he’s a burden for everyone. So he won’t, because that’s Hardcase’s problem.
