      firefights  always  are  an  exciting  event, especially when you’re the one that has the dubious honor of walking away rather unscathed. quetzalli navarro never cared much for the fight, but she didn’t care about a lot that people deemed important. sure, there’s adrenaline in watching other people fight and yes that can get addictive. however, the actual fighting isn’t the most intriguing part; it’s the displays of brutality. the weapons, the pregnant pause before a final shot is taken. the drama of reloading behind a surface. she takes in every aspect of the fight rather than the basis of watching the fighters. they don’t interest her. their methods, their weapons, their abilities are the most interesting part about them.

❛  congratulations  on  not  dying,  ❜  it might seem cold, but it’s earnest as she walks right by him and back to her workbench. she’s not impressed, because, why would she be? unlike the other unpredictable variables, she knows what he’s going to do. in a fight he’s a heat-seeking missile, and while watching ruin is always a delight; even a nuclear bomb gets boring if you watch it detonate enough times. she shifts, he’s still in her workspace... why?
