Can I just say,,, the combo of runes and henna on ppl's hands + arms is beautiful... also like sh weddings seem 2 be largely political and many guests r like high ranking ppl ? But like... every single family member and friend must show up and the clash of that is amazing
y e s. omg. intricate henna designs between runes. and the mesh of cultures omg. like, so many political guests, like you say - but the families that arranged the marriage between their kids are also celebrating the union, full on desi style. full force of family arriving, everybody is in bright colours, everybody is joyful and loud.
