Foolish Preparations - any info? 🥰🥰🥰

Absolutely! 🧡 This is the working title of my heavily inspired by Jane Austen's Emma's James POV fic. He is a berk and a PhD student and just a witty little bisexual fav.

Here is a little snippet from it, because why not:

"Because...?"

"Because, what?"

"Because you just said because. You didn't finish your sentence, Evans." James pulled a nonchalant hand through his hair. "Your pause, it was so pregnant, I worried I'd have to grab the forceps."

"Do you get off on being such a wise arse?" Lily replied.

"Not these days. Made too much of a mess in the office."

She rolled her eyes. He enjoyed the little tickle in his stomach he got from annoying his fellow officemate.

3 sentence prompt Jily: “Why is Lily locked in a broom closet with Sirius???”

James looked at Remus with a confused expression - their respective partners had been shut up in a broom closet together for about half an hour, and no-one could get the door open from the outside.

Remus put his head in his hands, sighed, then explained; Sirius had just discovered the Muggle term "coming out of the closet" and had pulled the closest muggleborn he knew into the nearest closet so they could help him make his grand announcement.

The door unlocked, and Sirius jumped out, arms outstretched, his robes charmed into the colours of the rainbow flag (most likely by Lily, who was snorting with laughter behind him) and loudly declared "I'm gay in the wizarding world and the Muggle world now!"

Remus is grumpy because he’s run out of proper tea...

Sirius heard smashes coming from the kitchen, and groaned as he pulled himself out of bed and went to see what had put Remus in such a foul mood.

The kitchen was a mess, cupboards flung open and a furious Remus standing in the middle, scowling at Sirius, who tried to look at the front page of the Daily Prophet to see what news had caused this.

"You," Remus growled, while pointing at Sirius, who shrank back, "I told you we had run out of tea, and you thought it was a good idea to come back with TETLEY?!?!"

3 sentence prompt Jily: “and Potter manages to bat the quaffed away but oops, Avery has just fouled him and he’s fallen off his broomstick!!!”

James looked back to see the Slytherin chaser lying on the ground and laughed, casually grabbing the Quaffle and flinging it through the middle hoop.

His eyes flicked over to Lily, who was standing with her arms folded, wand in hand, and a smug grin on her face.

She caught his eye and raised one eyebrow as if to say "what?! No-one illegally fouls my boyfriend and gets away with it!"
