Hey kids? This scam is as old as asks on tumblr. The scammers just decided recently that bedrock wasn't low enough and started digging.

You'll get an ask talking about a medical crisis. Back in the day it was usually a dog. Now it's usually a roommate or themselves; frequently it's an ongoing issue- note the diabetes. Sometimes its fleeing an abusive partner/parent's home. Always they're asking for Either money or for you to reblog their main post for reach, which is always funny cus babe I do Not have very many followers and Most of them are abandoned blogs from 2017.

This blog is 2 days old at time of posting and has a dozen random reblogs. Sometimes they're a week old, sometimes they're brand new, I've never seen one older than about 2 weeks.

Here's the thing. They're not from Gaza and they don't have a mom who missed eye surgery. This is a bot, probably hosted on a rigged up server in dad's basement, being used to funnel people to scam go-fund-me's set up to break your heart and get to donate because you're a good person and you want to help. It's not real. They're never real. Buy e-sims, donate through approved channels and charities that have proof of intent, sign petitions, go to protests, don't give up hope.

Don't respond to these scumbag scammers who will stoop so fucking low as to pretend to be victims of genocide to rob you. You can block from the askbox.
