Wow, for the first time, I’m watching live TV again because I tried Hulu live with no ads today. It’s encouraging how willing mainstream media is to call out Trump’s racism. There’s something nice about having TV again. We had a heavy snow storm today. School will probably be closed until Thursday. I’m fairly used to driving in winter weather but this was the first time this winter I was actually scared. On the way to work, they sometimes broadcast the death toll of winter driving on signs. It’s always weird when I’m driving back from work and learn that like eight people have died in the time it took me to go through my day. I was asked to be on a podcast with an old friend about Valentine’s Day. My boyfriend’s okay with it, despite how private he is. I got a weird text from the temp agency rep today, to call her before I go into work tomorrow. I hope nothing bad happened. I can’t imagine what it might be. It could be about the weather or about extra hours, changing my schedule. I shouldn’t assume the worst, but because I’m naturally a worrier, I’ll use this time to apply for new jobs. I made an offhand tweet about my surprise that Starbucks didn’t have real fruit in the oatmeal and they actually got back to me. It shouldn’t surprise me as much as it does because I do social media management at work. It makes sense that Starbucks would too.
