Sick Rin Itoshi vs his manager
"Dun wanna."
Rin shook his head like an insolent five year old. You held the cup of medicine, the green color almost festive, but the taste...Well, you couldn't blame Rin for not wanting to take it.
However, you had encountered this more than once. After the first time, you'd learned he would obey if bribed.
"If you take your medicine, I'll give you the surprise in my bag."
Rin bundled in his blankets, chin resting on the top of them, eyes glassy darting to the bag behind you.
"Fine, but I don't want the bag prize. I want to pick my own."
You forced yourself not to roll your eyes as he reached out from his blanket cocoon and took the cup.
"Okay."
Rin downed the medicine, grimacing at the aftertaste before fully opening his blanket cocoon.
"Get in," was all he said, a slight blush gracing his cheeks, gaze avoiding yours.
"You want me to cuddle you?"
"Just...Get in."
The blush turned from pink to red. You settled next to him, not surprised when he immediately lay his head against you. Thankfully, the couch was comfortable since he fought going back to his bed.
You knew Rin liked you. The last time he was deliriously sick, he confessed. You realized the next day he had no recollection, so you let the months pass by without ever bringing it up.
You ran your fingers through his semi sweaty hair, smiling when he let out a contented hum.
"You're going to your bed after lunch. Got it?"
"Yeah, yeah," he mumbled his lips against your collarbone. "Y/N, I like you."
"I know. Now go to sleep."
Rin pulled his head back to meet your gaze. His was determined.
"No. I like you. I...I want you to hold me when I'm...not sick," he finally managed his face fully flushed now.
"We can talk about it when you feel better, okay? I like you too, but I want you to get better right now."
Rin nodded through a yawn, seemingly happy with your response. As he nuzzled in even closer, his arms wrapping around your waist, you smiled. Rin Itoshi. The biggest, cuddliest baby when he was sick.
