Blocking Out The Eyebrows - Step By Step Guide
Hi All,
I have decided to share with you all how I go about blocking out the eyebrows for some of my photo shoots. This method took me a long time to get right. I tried lots of different products and different ways. I spent days practicing this look and found on the way what worked and what did not work.
When I started practising this method I got a lot of tips form the talented Karla Powell on this method which helped me a lot
I recently did a look in which I had to block out the brows, so whilst I was practising I thought I would do a step by step guide for you.
Products Used:
Graftobian Spirit Gum I will be purchasing the Kryolan one next time.
Graftobian Sealing Gel - I did not use this to practice with. But I use this on shoots around the edges of the brow.
Mehron Spirit Gum Remover
Kryolan Foundation Stacker
Kryolan Cine-Wax
Illamasqua Pressed Powder - Transculent

Products Used:
Step 1.
Please ignore the spoolie, It got a little sticky with the spirit gum. Brush brows upwards before applying the spirit gum. Apply the spirit gum from the bottle with the brush that is attached to the lid then take your spoolie and run this upwards over the brows. It will go sticky after you have ran the spoolie over the brows a couple of times.

Step 2:
Take a very small amount of Kryolan Cine Wax onto your spatula, I tend to warm it up with my fingers pop it back on the spatula then run the spatula over part of the brow if not all you wish to block out.
Eyebrow with the wax applied:
(You can use your fingers if you wish to) I use to apply a thick layer of wax and I found this was way to much as the products you applied did not sit well on top of all the wax. So a small thin layer is all you need.
Step 3:
Take a concealer brush, I used my ADesign Concealer brush. Apply a small amount of foundation, in the same shade as your base and stipple the product onto the brow area. (Do not drag)
Step 4:
Apply your translucent powder over the foundation you have applied. I tend to dab the powder on with a fluffy blending brush, again do not drag the product. Pat it on lightly.
Now repeat steps 3 & 4 until your brow is covered to the intensity you are looking for. Apply the sealing gel around the outside of the area of brow you have covered.
