Here is the final exhibit I visited at the Block Museum - the mummy portraits. Many of the objects in this part of the museum are portraits of mummified people from ancient times. The best part of the exhibit was a real mummy, excavated from Egypt and transported all the way to Chicago, which was really cool. I’ve took a field trip with my art history class at my college to the Block Museum to check out some of the art exhibits on display.
