Elizabeth’s visiting dress, Frankenstein (2025)

After the wedding dress, this is probably the costume of Elizabeth’s I spent the longest looking at, which feels appropriate. There were a lot of beautiful details including the lamé fringing tassels, perfectly matched silk covered buttons, the incredible inspectors layering of colours and fabric textures. The amount of careful colour matching across fabrics that was done which is an achievement in itself.

Most of all I was utterly captivated by the lace trim trapped between layers of chiffon at the cuff, placed immediately between the sheer undersleeve and the sheer gloves. The volume of storytelling in that one tiny detail.

Out for dinner. Semi-public, I would say.

Another Mexico dress. From last year. Posted on my terminated blog.

A dress like this can be worn quite discreetly, but we took the pic before we went out. I wore a jacket over top, out for dinner with two other couples, very stylish girls and their husbands, who tend to dress sexily. I was in the mood, and bought this dress there. In the restaurant, the lights were on the dim side, and once we were there, I could take the jacket off, and people would have to look closely to see I was wearing nothing underneath. I was totally at ease, not a problem, even when I went through the tables to the ladies room. Sometimes, when we are away from home, I feel more daring, and this was one of those nights. You can even see the long dangly navel decoration I wore for that night. Still working on posting these pics of me from my earlier blog. Enjoy.
