Back in August 2021, I wrote on the WordPress version of this blog that it has been "relatively inactive" since 2020, due to a busy year, and stated that I had decided to keep the blog on hiatus, noting the challenges of juggling many family history blogs. At the time, I said that it pained me to keep the blog "on hiatus because I love learning and writing about my Italian ancestors so much," but said that I didn't want to "stretch my energy for writing and research family history too thin." However, I may give this blog new life this year, especially since I now have a Tumblr version! I may write again more on the WordPress version, and since now both are connected through Jetpack Social tools on WordPress, it will be easier for you to see the posts on there without me having to repost the content on here!

Continuing this blog

Back in August 2021, I wrote that although I love reading and writing about my Transylvanian roots, I had "no choice but to keep this blog on hiatus," with the same for my posts on my blog about Italian roots, adding that I was planning to refocus on my energy on my Packard history blog (on WordPress and Tumblr). At the time I also said that "I promise to come back to this blog sometime in the future, although I can't say for certain when that will be." I may try and post more on the WordPress blog later this year, if time allows for it.
