Blog Notice!

This blog will be going through some major editing, changes and development. This might not always be fast or finish soon, however I will try to speed the process as much as possible.* Of course, the blog shall function as usual and be a safe space for whoever needs it.

*I am also starting a new/secondary blog, that I will link to a possible Tiktok account! It will just be about plants, how to take care of them, plant core, cottage or fantasy core, etcetera! That's why I might be taking time on the developments.

    So. Here’s something! When you change your avatar or the likes, usual themes alter the text that shows on your actual theme (Your URL), yes? Here’s a solution!

    Go to edit your blog by clicking the usual palette in the top right when on your blog itself. Open that. Click edit HTML.

     First, look at the ‘meta’ area. You can insert this anywhere but at the top is best; insert the text <meta name="text:ANYTHING" content="TEXT"/> in it. ‘ANYTHING’ can be anything you want.

     Second, find your “description” HTML. Usually seen as ‘desc’ or ‘description’. Use CTRL+F to find it usually. Mine is called rbarboxdesc because it is the right box’s bar description for instance:

     Rename ‘rbarboxdesc’ or what yours is to whatever you put in place of ‘ANYTHING’.

     Then find the description after </head>, usually noted as {description}. This is the default key to changing; {description} goes on your blog’s description, which is what you wish to change so it doesn’t get altered when you edit your avatar etc!

     Replace {description} with {text:ANTHING} as so you named it.

     Update preview and nothing will show where the description was. So! Press back on the HTML, making sure you’ve updated the appearance until you see the usual;

     Aha! Scroll and you should see “ANYTHING” or whatever you named it with a box to insert text! It should have basic text as “TEXT” and you just replace that.

     Insert anything you want there and it will appear on your blog as you press to update the preview. You can use HTML and whatever and it won’t be touched when you change avatar, header, etc.

     Bare in mind!! When you edit your avatar, header or blog’s preview text, it will wipe HTML from the blog’s preview text, so always go to your blog, edit theme, copy the HTML and text if you have any. Leave that. Update your avatar etc, save, then go to edit blog again and re-paste it as seen in this part;

     The description part edits with your avatar or header etc. So always keep a copy of any HTML there before editing your avatar etc!

I need some help with my blog theme

Hello all I've been getting into editing again and started to use my multifandom account again. I got a lot of messages asking for my URL which I never responded to because I always had intentions to use this (finnswolfhard) account as an edit account. I'm getting a little discouraged however because no matter what theme I use or how many times I re-edit gifs/photosets my images and gifs are not coming out full sized on my page, you can see it (my blog is finnswolfhard.tumblr.com). I've tried everything I know, my sister doesn't understand either and I am literally using her exact theme to see if that would help me since her images come out perfect. I was wondering if anyone can help me with this? I would so appreciate it.
