good things about today
Turned in my literary analysis paper on The Road (my favorite book, if anyone was curious)
Workshopped my creative nonfiction piece before class with my professor, who informed me that the piece was "great"
That same professor asked to use another one of my pieces as an example for his future classes.
Met with the staff of Illuminate (the literary journal I edit for) and we talked about the vision for this year/logistics/timeline etc etc.
Christmas party at church.
My new years resolution will be to do one of these lists every day. Optimism is kind of undervalued in society and even in my own life, which is such a bummer.
