The CP Diary: What my blog is
After years of writing, of offering and giving advice, my blog feels like an agony aunt blog. The varied topics are rather agony aunt-ish.
Inner conflicts and interpersonal conflicts
Inner conflicts and interpersonal conflicts will always crop up, and this is why I continue to offer advice. The world is changed and conflicts arise daily. Sometimes those conflicts are with us, sometimes they're someone else's conflicts that are inflicted on us, but it is always important to cope, particularly where interests diverge. Culture is another area where conflict may occur.
What my blog is
My blog is about reflection, it allows for debate. The way I write, helps us to understand a different perspective, based on what we may all deal with, while tapping into our own perspective. It takes courage to think and confidence to move out of one box into another, to think something different, particularly if change is something you struggle with. My blog is that change.
I hope I help you validate your own thoughts, or help you see things from another perspective. Where you’re choosing to avert your gaze, it is important to make progress, however small.
Give yourself time
You need to give yourself time to understand and work through your emotions. In 13 years, there is a lot I have covered. There is a lot to read and absorb. But mental health is important, and it is important to be proactive on mental health. When illness finds its way in, it's too late and you may not be so lucky. I have had two family members die to mental health issues.
Our unhelpful and old patterns
My blog is a place that can help you close one door and open another with lots of new information. It’s easy to get entrenched in unhelpful and old patterns that do little to help with mental health. There are many different perceptions to consider that can help you progress and move on. It's what my blog is. Emotional and spiritual growth can happen, but you need to let it.
My blog can help unstick you
Through my blog I spread knowledge beyond the confines of the counselling arena. If you’re feeling stuck, my blog helps you to become unstuck, but you need to put the work in. As I continue to work with the universal coding, I offer advice to help you unstick you.
My blog is a place where you can grow in your own way and in your own time. It is also important to be an in an environment that helps you to grow and if it doesn’t, then perhaps it’s time to rethink the environment.
