I’m going to respond to all the “is ilya blond” asks under a cut so I don’t swamp everyone’s dashboards with hair color discourse 😂

Oscar should bleach his hair blond #ideas. I actually did it on Facetune and not bad, doesn’t wash him out like you’d think

I would love your professional view on why some of these drivers' hair turned darker (from blonde obv) as they got older🤔

Do you think they were ashamed of being blonde? Or is there more nefarious reasons behind it.

lmaoooo well it's natural that hair gets darker as people grow up!! i had much lighter hair as a child, my dad is one of those born blond turned brown people. IT'S FINE!!! most blond people don't keep their childhood hair colour, it gets darker even if they still remain blond.

im not a professional and ive never been naturally blond myself on account of being half korean (that's just not realistic, the chances of me being naturally blonde were close to a zero from the get go)

he grows up to be not scarily blond. and that's fiiine.

honestly it's kind of good he's not a proper blond because he already has blue eyes and i just can't spend time on people who are both blond AND have blue eyes, like, pick a struggle. ANYWAY. people's hair be getting darker, and that's okay. no reasons for that other than maybe genetics and general environmental pollution that's going on in the world!!

every time people have a blond debate about f1 drivers they forget dirty blond is a very widely recognized thing…😭💀 like no, actually, that’s not brown hair. Most people cannot be a distinct blond as an adult without dye. Max for example is CLEARLY blond seeing how light his hair gets after being in the sun, and also by using my eyes… Wirh the controversial ones you’ll always find pics of their hair looking browner vs blonder… but for true brunettes— their hair will NEVER look blond in any light (ex: George). Oscar, obviously has brown hair. Even as an (older) kid his hair was already brown. Never seen a more brunette person in my life x

OKAY i agree that most people cannot be a distinct blond as an adult naturally. like. the hair gets darker with age AND IT'S FINE.

now i said in a previous ask that i don't think Max is blond. but it's interesting that you brought up George as an example because I WAS THINKING ABOUT GEORGE!!! like if people think OSCAR is blond where are the people who think GEORGE is blonde?? and there are none because Georginas of GR63 nation are very demure and mindful and know What's Up, so to speak (shout out to georginas)

hulkenburg def gets the blond title. Like you said he’s very blond aware. He even gets highlights and stuff (TRUE blond behavior)

Hulk and Liam are BLOND-AWARE confirmed

i honestly don't think Max and Oscar would call themselves blond but mostly because... they don't give a fuuuck. they seem like 3in1 shampoo kinda guys whilst Lian and Hulk are knows to have Hairstyles and stuff. you know. they are more hair-aware people in general (like Lewis and Yuki in my opinion are also hair-aware people)

okay... this is interesting. i do think he is blond. yes it's on the darker side, might even call it "dirty blond". but i think most importantly he has a vibe of a guy who KNOWS he's blond, who considers himself blond. he is very blond-aware like Liam Lawson. that's the vibe i'm getting.
