Now that was not exactly a comment people usually approached him, and for a moment, it had Gellert phased, not having expected such an opener at all. Then again, it was amusing at the same time, to the point where he could humor the young woman back very easily. 

“You see, if I’m unbelievable as you say, wouldn’t that in theory make me be something that is unlikely to exist to begin with?” He questioned, both eyebrows raised while expecting an answer. Of course, Grindelwald was more than aware that that was not what she was aiming for, but such a comment did deserve an equal answer. “From what I can tell, I am very much existing.”

Why he was still listening to Care of Magical Creatures in his seventh year, Max wasn’t sure himself either. He wanted to drop it after his fifth year, but the subject kind of stuck with him. It was an easy one too, and it gave extra credit for later on, and while the Slytherin wasn’t quite as enthusiastic about the subjects as some of his classmates, he wasn’t exactly a failure at it either.

“Why do you think these... things are so fascinating?” He asked one of the Hufflepuff girls that attended the class with him as he motioned towards the Porlock they were studying.

Looking at her was almost like looking at a GHOST, the features of her mother not going unrecognized upon the young girls face. He was there as features contorted, the UNFORGIVABLES used to extract what they could before finally FINISHING her off. Another victim, another empty space left behind. But such was WAR & nothing could be promised, especially NOW as the death eaters continued to gain CONTROL of the Wizarding World. & he had been asked to come take part in the DISCIPLINE at Hogwarts, seeing as he’d taught there only a few years ago ( something he quite enjoyed, albeit under odd circumstances ) & he was only too OVERJOYED to return when Severus had asked him to return.
