Watching older royals and politicians play the long-game was both tiresome, and annoying. Eric and himself read through the lines, knowing the double-faced treachery that existed in the older crowd, however, were forced to be polite towards the older crowd for the sake of diplomacy; maintaining alliances. “Adventure is certainly thrilling than sitting and listening to drivel.”

A deep breath in an attempt to calm his nerves and stop himself from actually being sick but yet unable to take his eyes off of his neighbor’s house. It still didn’t seem real. As if he was stuck in some horrible nightmare that he could not wake up from.

“No, nothing like any of that. It’s a quiet neighborhood, you know? You see the same people everyday. But…” Kili sighed in defeat and turned his back to his friend’s house, no longer able to look at it, crossing his arms protectively over his chest. “We used to follow the same path every night when we went running…and we would always see the same white van. Even used to joke about it…”

Neighbour hoods were rarely quiet. Residents might believe that and kept the appearance up for reputation, turning a blind eye away in order to keep living in peace without being dragged into a horrid situation or acknowledge their own shortcomings. A rather cynical view, Hotch admitted silently to himself, however, civilians hated getting involved in such scenarios.

However, that was neither here or there, listening carefully at the testimony supplied by the man. His hands held down and kept a close eye watching his movements, noting the pauses while the other tried to compose themselves while speaking.

thankfully for the pair, they were wizards so transportation wouldn’t be a problem. if there was one thing sirius hated more than anything in this world, it was muggle cars. nodding, he took the others hand and a quick ‘snap’ could be heard as their bodies disappeared from the bedroom and in the alley right outside of the club. “you alright?” he asked, apparation could be tricky for some. once they were ready, sirius led the other inside the club and loud music played. “it’s a wonder these muggles know how to have fun” he whispered in the others ear as they got onto the dance floor.

Quick apparation, especially without warning, came with a sharp backlash. Capable of making even the strongest sorcerers sick to their own stomachs. Thankfully, James maintained himself. A weak smile formed nodding slightly. Their hands remained intertwined together.

Music boomed in the background, the place covered in shadows top to bottom with a variety of lights bouncing across the walls. It was a wonder, feeling his smile grow wider.

“Oh come off it, Siri.”

“You love it.” He says, and kissed his cheek. His tone whispered. “And I know you want to dance on that pole, too.”

Brett woke up after a long heated night, bed was abandoned soon in pose of washing is his face. Not even in the mood for a shower, the witch simply stared at the window before he heard the knock on his door. “I’m coming!” He pointed with a grown, drying his face. With a twist of his hand he called for a pair of sweatpants and after getting it on his hand, began to wear them on his way to the door. Once he opened up, he was simply covered by it and a vest left at the front door  not to fully feel exposed. “Morning.” He groaned,  stepped inside and turning around.

But Will needed to get away from home, or rather, the place that was his home. Leaving everything behind. After JJ, her and her cheating, all which he believed fell apart in an instance, staying there was suffocating. Pretending everything was fine, everything was okay, when truly, it wasn’t. He left the boys with his mom for a while.

However, he needed air to breathe. Which is why he went to an old friend of his. Not even hesitating to knock on the door and being greeted by Brett.
