Someone said that someone who's white passing cant call themself a poc because they dont get discriminated against by their skin color. Maybe I could send to you what they said privately to get your opinion?

being a poc is about more than discrimination based on looks. but if this person only wants to go by that narrow (incorrect) definition, in many colonized countries blood quantam laws mean you could be discriminated against even if you looked white af, but had 1/16th non-white ancestry. so the assumption poc are only discriminated against for looks is 100% wrong. you’re welcome to send the post if you’d also like my thoughts privately.
