Beztup is a Blood Ape from Exalted. Once upon a time he was summoned into Creation during the first age and put to service beneath the will of an ancient Solar who had an hobby of crafting fine wines and brews of all sorts. The blood ape peeked the Solar's interest in when he discovered the demon's sharper than usual wit and curiosity in the process. He tutored the demon a bit, cultivating his mind with Solar leadership into a fine brew master and true intellectual in comparison to those of his breed. Upon returning the Malfeas however, Beztup was never the same. While awakened to find satisfaction in more than simple destruction and violence, the Blood Ape opened a tavern of his own within Malfeas where he would further explore the imparted knowledge, crafting fine exotic brews and wines whenever the torments and conflicts of Malfea's citizens weren't distracting him. He even managed to make his way out into Creation frequently during Calibration, peddling his rare brews and even striking a few deals with Cynis and other high class occultists for distribution of his wares. It was within hell however that he crossed paths with a Demon-Blood named Syn that peeked his interest at the urging of Florivet. The pair had their share of adventures over near two decades that they looked after the tavern. Due to circumstances associating to Syn, the pair fled Malfeas to wander Creation. To this day the demon follows after the demon-blood turned Solar freely, depending upon the man to keep the demon out of trouble while he explores his odd freedom in a world that despises his kind. He couldn't truly hold it against them however; after all, even demons often didn't like other demons.
