It wasn’t the first time she’s seen a corpse in an ally before. However it was the first time that a rat has ever attacked her whenever she was near one. Getting a good bite into her hand before she was able to do anything about the sudden attack. Luckily for her, it was small enough for her to easily cut in half, even with her wooden knife. The downside was it was likely disease ridden and passed some pathogen off to her. Which she could also take care of on the spot. Plunging the knife into the wound to ‘kill’ the infection before it had a chance to spread.
After the crisis was averted, she noticed that someone has seen the entire scene play out. Figuring that it would have been too much of a hassle to explain how or why any of that happened she simply didn’t explain herself.
“Do you have some cloth or something I can use? I need to stop this bleeding.”
