@bloodhounding: ‘ PATCH. ‘ [Your muse bandages mine?] --- from ways to react to an injury. pt. 1
When Kurenai appeared at the steps of Doma Castle, partly covered in blood which, the viceroy is convinced, wasn’t solely hers, she but needed give a small wave to have the other woman follow her. There are only so very few people that Yotsuyu would consider allowing into her private chambers here in the stronghold, and the Shinobi is the first one to actually step inside.
The length of her kimono pools around Yotsuyu as she sit to the other’s left. She’s not asked about the result of her latest exploit nor about the exact source of the injury adorning her side. It’s not a deep wound, perhaps naught bothersome or concerning for a battle-hardened woman such as Kurenai; the viceroy finds herself taking care of it regardless. Even without receiving a formal education, she’s learned how to treat quite a number of injuries from a young age. She’s more delicate and gentle than she’s been while tending to herself even when she was younger. And so she works away in silence, urging Kurenai to lift any garments covering her upper body just enough to have a proper look without uttering a word.
Should Kurenai make but a single attempt at speaking up would Yotsuyu merely give her an admonitory glance.
She ignores their closeness; ignores how the other woman is watching her every move like a hawk, even with only her one uncovered eye. Only distantly, briefly, does Yotsuyu wonder why she feels not bothered by the attention so openly directed at her, but with the task at hand she manages to not delve too deep into the hows and whys. Until she’s done, that is; the clean, white bandages wrapping around Kurenai’s toned torso neatly, covering the wound and skin that Yotsuyu just cleaned meticulously.
She pulls away abruptly, putting a few ilms more between the two of them, and directs her gaze to the side.
“ --- I trust that this is the sole injury you suffered.”
