Lánhuā Tángláng (or just Lánhuā for short) is a mantis yaoguai who works at a brothel called The Orchid's Edge (which also doubles as a nightclub and bar), receiving information from both celestials and yaoguai alike in exchange for pleasure. She serves as an ally to the Destined One and Bajie, traveling with them across a few chapters, including a new chapter in which the Destined One and Bajie traverse the lands to her brothel in search of help (think of it as just chapter 5. The end of the game is now chapter 7 instead of chapter 6.) She used to travel with the pilgrims when they were on the journey to the west, serving as a protector of the group alongside Wukong and Bajie. She is a close friend of Bajie, who sometimes tries to flirt with her. She's not amused by it. Her and Wukong used to have a mutual crush on eachother, but didn't have enough time to confess before he died. She likes to gossip.
