△ (With a loaf of bread in his mouth)
Quinn was entirely too disgruntled and sleep deprived to really know what was going on when she padded into the kitchen with Valor perched enthusiastically upon her shoulder. All she was really aware of in that moment was not five minutes prior to this moment Valor had woken her up and refused to let her fall back asleep. Insistent squawks, tapping with his beak at her desk until finally he flapped quite loudly over to her bed itself to land squarely upon her chest.
He wanted food, go figure and was entirely too lazy to go hunt. Though who could blame him, it was four o’clock in the morning after all. So with an irritated groan and a few moments dedicated to attaching the singular, thick leather pauldron to her right shoulder, Quinn had set off to the kitchen with one excited and particularly hungry eagle.
One who did not take kindly to the sight of a stranger devouring his meal before his eyes.
A shrill shriek all but deafened the woman before she staggered back in slight, entirely unprepared for the Eagle launching himself from his perch at the man who dared to lay claim to his meal.
“V-... Valor NO WAIT!” Quinn managed to holler through the flurry of screeches and feathers.
After she realized what was going on, of course!
