I have just become aware of the AvidMC & Marm1lade situation. What they've done is harmful and disgusting, and I absolutely do not support either of them.

That being said, I will not be editing any of my fics to remove Avid's character. The storylines for Bloodstained Lips and Learning Lessons of (the After)Life are too far into development for that & Avid is unfortunately too important to the story of VSMP as a whole to simply exclude him.

Therefore, I want to make it perfectly clear that the Avid in any of my fics, current or future, is strictly the character that exists within the universe of Vampires smp. Any mention or depiction of Avid is of a fictional character in a fictional world, not it's creator.

They pulled open the exterior doors, expecting to find just the empty entryway. She was not expecting to see Pyro leaning against the wall, with a bored expression on their face. She watches his face light up when he sees her open the door, only for it to drop as he notices Drift and Cleo behind her. They panic, slamming the door shut again.

"…What was that about?" Cleo asks, their arms crossed.

"Pyro was there." She responded shakily, not turning to face the two behind her, "I wasn't expecting him to be just inside the doorway. Let me- Let me talk to him. They trust me still because of Truffle."

Drift cut Cleo off before they could give another snide comment, stepping forward to place a comforting hand on Apo's shoulder, "Good idea, let them know we're not a threat."

Apo nodded stiffly before reaching for the door again, letting Drift's hand fall away as they slipped inside. Trying not to flinch at the loud bang of the wood shutting behind her.

"Do you know what the doctor’s response was?” The elder vampire stopped directly in front of Pyro, the light behind him casting a shadow across Scott’s face, his red eyes almost looked like they were glowing in the darkness…actually Pyro was pretty sure they were.

“No- No idea, Sire!” He tried to give a smile, attempting to hide his fear, “I’m sure it wasn’t anything worth listening to-”

“He said,” Scott cut them off, taking a step forward, “That you had come into town the other day, asking about said cure.”

“Sire, I can explain-”

They stood there, silently staring as the tension became thick. Owen was seconds away from speaking, wanting to say anything to break the silence. He did not come all the way out here, wasting precious nighttime he could be using to hunt to just be stared at. He opened his mouth to tell the doctor such, when Legs finally spoke, beating him to it.

"How much did you know?"

"Pardon?"

He stepped further into the room, tilting his head slightly as he moved towards her—studying her, "Well," he starts, "It does seem like you got up to some things while we were away. Someone's been busy."

"Oh, well," She took a step back, grabbing the broom leaning against the banquet table, "I didn't do much, just swept up a bit—found a few floorboards coming up so I nailed them down…"

"I meant more in turning someone."

Next part of Bloodstained Lips is out! I tried something new here with adding bits of actual video dialogue in since this part is meant to essentially replace part of episode 5. I also changed things to both make it make sense in the story, and to add more majorscythe bits in.

I did struggle a bit with this part, but I hope it's still good enough. Enjoy~

I know the next part of Bloodstained Lips is late, a lot has happened recently in my personal life, don't know if it's the ao3 curse or what, but I've been having a hard time finding time to write. I don't know when it will be done, but it is being worked on and I'll get it out as soon as possible. This unfortunately does mean Learning Lessons is postponed until this part of Bloodstained is finished.

He tightened his hold on Pyro, the confused, dazed expression on their face making anger surge in his chest. He looked into their red and black eyes, "Who did this to you?"

"See this is what I'm talking about, Pyro!" The doctor was glaring at Scott, gesturing at the him as he spoke, "Why does he need to know what our conversation was about? You shouldn't have to tell him everything you talk to others about. That's just another way he is trying to control you!"

Pyro was seething against him, "He doesn't-" They let out a frustrated growl, "Would you stop saying that!?"

"Relax, my love," He soothed, noting the way the doctor's fists clenched in his own anger as Scott pressed a kiss to Pyro's hair, "as much as I adore how you look covered in blood, let's avoid violence for right now. Why don't you head back to the castle? Shelby should be home, and I think I would like a word alone with dear ol' doc."

WOOO New part of Bloodstained Lips!! As I mentioned in my update post, this one will also be the test for not restricting comments. We're gonna see how it goes and if it goes well, I'll remove the restriction for the older parts as well. Enjoy~
