I just remembered that part in Solo where he asks Beckett if he can teach him the “spin the blaster” trick, but then it never happens, and it really seems like one of those things that you would put into an origin story as a “and this is how he learned to do this!” moment, but it’s not because Han doesn’t do that, and it’s really a clever move on their part.
