would it be strange? to ask her why she was sitting there looking so dejected? body language and the gift in hand indicated she’d been left there, but taejoon didn’t want to seem to presumptuous. to just assume she’d just been stood up. maybe she was just having a hard day? either way, the young man moved a little closer to her, tilted his head a bit in attempt to meet her downcast gaze before saying, “excuse me...are you--do you need a ride somewhere or something? are you alright?”

“so -- i told my brothers i was hanging out with you today.” which is why moonbyeol is standing outside their door. “i got tired of having to wait at the hospital. i don’t like having to sit in the on call room and be babysat by doctors -- so i just wanted to hang out with you. and not like... lie about it.”

Sydney slowly paced back in forth in front of the building. It was obvious the brunette was nervous, but that reason alone she was thankful for the tinted windows. “You can do this” Sydney whispered to herself, stumbling back against the building as drunken teenagers shoved past her, “Excuse you!” she growled under her teeth.

The brunette sighed and threw her cigarette on the ground, putting it out under the sole of her heeled boots. She took another deep breath before allowing her hands to shakenly adjust her crop top before pulling the door open. 

“Hello” she smiled, walking over to the front desk. “Yeah. I need a job.” Sydney batted her eyelashes as she leaned forward on the desk slightly, thankful the curves of her breast poked out of the top.
