Oh well, kpop unpopular opinions
As a person who has been kpop fan around six or so years i have seen a lot, and even though im more of a casual listener i still have some opinions that are gonna get me killed lmao
Also grammar might be like a 4th grader level im sorry its almost 2am
Lets start with Bts because thats gonna get all the armys hate me. I used to be huge army back in 2014-2016, but nowadays i just skip almost every bts song that comes on spotify. I haven't liked any of their new songs after spring day tbh. Also i think that many of their songs sound fake deep and try too hard to give a deeper meaning. Also i get that commenting on their looks might be seen as shallow, but i don't think them as that goodlooking tbh.
Groups debuting in big three (and big hit) have more privilege compared to lesser known entertainment companies. Coming from a company with a well known group gives a debuting group a spotlight and more possibilities to make it in the industry, and thats just facts. For example TXT. I could swear on my life that if they weren't from bighit they would not be that popular. To be clear im not saying that having this privilege is bad, because tbh its fucking great to have.
Senorita by (g) i-dle is one of their best title tracks. I can't understand why people were shitting on it when it came. Live orchestra playing on the stage? Iconic.
Stray kids have hands down one of the best rap lines in kpop. Don't even try to come for me because i can't hear you over my bop wow by 3racha.
Lets go back to bts. I didn't like jhopes mixtape, or rm's new mixtape or the older one that much. Only mixtape from bts i really liked was yoongis mixtape lmao
I don't really get why non asians could not be part of kpop industry. Like hear me out. If they didn't try to be korean and could actually speak korean and understand the culture, i don't see why that is such a bad thing. Oli London or Lana(idk her name but yeah) are completrly out of question, but don't forget that there was an african american girl in bp rania. If people want to talk about this subject w me im happy to have a siviliced conversation.
Shipping idols. This might be a lil controversial opinion as i have seen many people be completely against it. In my opinion as long as your shipping is not anything illegal and you don't force it onto other people (or worse, on the idols) im fine with it. Saw cute video of your ship hugging each other? Cool just don't go around saying your ship is real, when it isn't.
This one is quite popular imo but i just have to but this here. Don't say you're a kpop fan if the only group you have heard is bts or blackpink. You haven't even touched the water that kpop is. I have seen may people say they are kpop fan but dont even bother knowing other groups than bts. You're Army, not a kpop fan.
In certain levels solo stanning is completely okay. Same goes for not liking a certain member of a group. Its okay as long as you don't go on your way to bully others/the member you don't like. It's in human nature not to like everyone. Everyone has right to dislike a group member of their personality for example isn't likeable for them. Same for looks and voice imo.
You can't have more than one ultimate bias. Its ultimate for reason. I've seen so many people be like these five people are my ult biases. NO. Ultimate bias means one above all. How can five be one above all? Doesn't work like that.
Stanning lesser known groups only because people don't know them and dropping them the second they become more popular is disgusting imo. I can't for now find better word sorry. It's like you have to feel special about yourself because u stan a group not many people know and the second you find more unknown group u switch ult groups. Same goes for biasing the member with least stans only because of that fact is disgusting. I know one of this type of people irl and i have seen so many people be okay with this so i had to post.
This is already long so i leave it to this for now. Might start doing montly recap on comebacks and rating them for fun.
Lalisa Manoban, Kim Jennie, Kim Jisoo and Park Rosé I kindly ask you to... LET ME LIVE !!!!!!🖤💖🖤💖🖤💖🖤💖
