My masters program is starting in a week. Which means I will get to work on my personal project: Bludmor
And since I’ve been prototyping some of the things, please enjoy the cast of the game.
P.S. - most likely you will get to see more of them over the course of the year, possibly with lore drops or silly stuff.
Unfortunately I might need to stop with hermit a day May challenge, as it’s end of the trimester, exam period and I’m too exhausted. Here are some projects I’m working on for university that I can show.
Also, I thought you might be interested why I don’t post art as often and the reason is Bludmor (aka game in my development). Enjoy some of the concept art
A bit more on a progress with Bludmor and some fun facts about the game.
If nothing changes in development process the game would have 4 different endings and 5 different game overs.
The name itself, Bludmor, is a phonetic play (if to trust my friend from Belarus). Firstly, to English, it sounds like “blood” and “more”, which logically brain would confirm into “more blood” as a demand.
However old Slavic “blud” with “oo” like in book means wander, walk around. And “Mor” means death, sickness or something like that. So turns into a wandering death, which is pretty close to English phonetic meaning.
But what is Bludmor? It’s a name of the forest the player will explore.
