I was just doing some studies regarding clothing (mostly for wild buttercups au) and figured that different hybrids probably would have different cultural clothing. So enjoy. Or not.

Welcome to the HYBRID LESSONS. Today’s theme: ALLAYS AND VEXES.
Welcome to another part of the hybrid lessons! I kinda enjoy this series and hope you do as well. Helps me figure out stuff.
Expand to see about their diet. But trigger warning: blood and topic of consumption of humans
I got sick, so instead of a proper art enjoy a small unofficial hybrid lessons and breakdown on watchers’ magic.
Let’s start with the one you’ve seen the most/know the most about: Shapeshifting.
Secret Keeper is a very good example of that. While most watchers never go beyond learning to shapeshift into player form and back, Secret Keeper had learned to change voices, faces, and not just for 3D space.
Out of entire quartet of game masters, Secret Keeper is the only one who can shapeshift into other watchers.
They had learned that just to spy, not only on players but on other watchers as well. And with their interest in observing, they are good at acting like the person they are imitating too.
Healing.
A weird, in my opinion, magic for watchers to have, but this one is a defined cannon, thanks to Secret Life. Watchers clearly posses the ability to heal wounds and injuries.
But most likely this magic is something that watchers rarely learn beyond basics.
P.S. Secret Keeper learned how to do that from Cupid. Cupid had mastered that skill simply for the hunting in order to appear even more “harmless” and “perfect”.
Matter manipulation.
Creation of worlds, moving objects, altering laws of nature, raising the dead, all this neat stuff. (Yes, raising the dead fits this category more than healing, as undead posses just the body but not memories. Practically a new person)
And sheer energy.
Explosions, magical pulses or impulses, more destructive type of magic and something watchers use more commonly than any of the above.
Welcome to the HYBRID LESSONS. Today’s theme: WATCHERS AND VOIDWALKERS.
Who bothered to go through the linguistics of 2 names to make a whole base for the cultural names that most likely no one would use? Me. Btw you all free to use any of this is you want to make your watcher OCs. Just tag me as inspo :D
Trigger warning: topic of human consumption.
