some exploration
These paper quilled acorn necklace pendants have been handmade entirely from quilling paper. You may choose from festive metallic gold and silver or tranquil teal and navy. Each acorn has been carefully hand painted in a sealant which makes it water resistant and UV resistant. The metallic acorns shine beautifully in the real light. They are super lightweight. Please note that this listing is for the pendant ONLY, not a full necklace. Dimensions: Approx. 1.5in x 1in (1.75in including clasp)

Blue Acorn Interview Process
Being sneaky
It has been just shy of three weeks working at Blue Acorn, and I am still really happy. We are having a big Open House Party tomorrow for the whole block and I expect plenty of drinks and delicious food to be present. Love that.
While I do love my job, I definitely had a moment today where I considered faking diarrhea so that I could spend the rest of the afternoon alone on the beach. I thought better of it because I know that's not what responsible kids do, so I will be really upset if it rains this weekend and I never get to spend that relaxing day. alone. on the beach.
Another exciting thing that happened today was when I went to eat with two of my favorite work friends and spent a lot of money on a large piece of terrible cake. I took two bites, just to be sure it was bad, then made them both try it to confirm that I wasn't just being picky, and it did actually taste of chemicals. After everyone agreed, we decided the best thing to do was to cut off our bite-side and box it up as a gift to our marketing guy (who we all love).
He was really happy to get the cake, which initially made me feel terrible, but then he ate the whole thing without comment. It was amazing. Win win win, as Michael Scott would say.
