White-lipped Pit Viper or Blue Insularis (Trimeresurus insularis) is venomous pit viper and endemic species in Indonesia. The color is unique, namely turquoise blue.

⚠️ Just wanna leave a disclaimer: please do not pick one up, no matter how cute it looks. This is a baby pit viper and they are venomous. I don’t know if this lady in the video even realises this, but anyway, just don’t.

Information on the pit viper: Most white-lipped pit vipers are actually green, and even within this subspecies, the blue variety is rare, and only occurs in places such as Komodo Island, where both green and blue individuals have been spotted. While their venom rarely kills, it’s incredibly unpleasant to get a bite from a white-lipped island pit viper – they have a ‘hemorrhagic’ venom, which can cause pain, swelling, necrosis of the flesh, and severe bleeding, both internally and externally. It doesn’t help that the pit viper has a tendency towards fight over flight.

i love my boooooiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii lolol so this was fun to do! and i got a bit better at doodlin sneks so yay! its also somewhat reminiscent of an earlier doodle i did years ago yknow back when id draw on lined paper because i sukkkk XD so, im super happy with how this turned out :3 anyways, i know you probably dont know him or care about them as much as i do, and thats okay but i hope you can find some enjoyment out of this anyway ^-^ try to have at least an okay day! peace out! see ya next time! <3
