* sentient pockets, aesthetic flashes of delight * lead to a bone-deep realization of a reality, our human duality: * we may suffer blue moods  but somehow harbor a rosy outlook * mirroring the very blood coursing through our veins * one stream aerated, one bereft - both essential, circulating * in & throughout the human compendium. * from the dank basest depths, there is no apt gaze save upward * from the alighted highest peaks, we're cautioned: 'pride goest before a fall' * cut me - let’s watch with a measure of amusement as my blood, once blue * turns red in the light of day. * 1/18 - lebuc - rosy

blue tinge

* everything   is tinged with a blue baked into the firmament; rivulets form veined lattices beneath the collective crusts of consciousness. even tears emanate the hue upon close examination, seemingly translucent at arm's length. i seek amusement in random happinesses, orgiastic pleasures too few & fading fast; consoled that someone, somewhere in the world is finding fulfillment in their heart-land. only to find limp business kits kicking the can down the road selling self-amusement in simulated facades belying the cracks of our fears: lonely, unloved, amiss... the cacophany   in the banshee cry of movies, snaps & monosyllabic yelps that mimic the mating calls of a defunct species distracted, chasing the shrinking reserve of circulated dollars, in between checking their email & counting the numbers of those  who claim to like, but don't really know you in a mechanized mayhem cresting like a tsunami from the minds of technicians who'd rather play with toys that don't sigh when abused - or sue until the the day toys learn to turn themselves on, suss pleasure unnecessary to non-biological entities & their makers - irrelevant to an activated resource extraction & production chain. we know that when we sense an electrical smell in the air, it signals trouble... like a blue spark to a flame jut now ignited, fuse, already blown & a house soon to be on fire. * 1/18 - lebuc -  blue tinge
