gracefully, if at all

* lightning bugs* grace our front porch post-dusk gathering around its light;

greater-elder respecting it seems, as game truly does recognize game,

...best done gracefully, if at all.

summer’s solstice sends certain sights & sounds our way, enthralling us

if only it could be year round...

by so doing, we could enjoy the display until midnight from the dawn

knowing we've not yet lost our way

april's days of juxtaposition

culture, subculture

clash, crash, contrast

living in contradiction

painters and poets

inhabit coffeeshop walls

zen, music calls

here it in stereo

two sips from nirvana

eleven-hundred miles from paradise

so I sit, I sip,

I roll the dice

I slip

away into a daydream haze

onto a higher, loving place

one coffee, a song, and a poem

and I am, and I am, I am, I am

I am home

no matter where I go, I roam

perched in my soul;

I am home

this is my human condition

feelings flux

weather or not...

sun, clouds, rain, any inclination

I am home

echoes

your words never end they keep coming back home and i am nervous not sure whether i should believe them you call me beautiful and i am scared to believe you because what if i start believing you what if echoes become existence and deaf ears hear voices that I've always refused to listen to because darling you’re too good for me too kind for me and you’re different to me you’re an echo to everyone else but you are tangible from a thousand miles away and i am so scared to touch you

i feel my own truth resonating in my chest and this is the first time I've ever believed it

fog

* there is a fog, a significant measure of mist, arisen.

from underneath, motions are made with alacrity

beyond the cloud is where clarity reigns.

fog, however permeates without permission,

penetrates crevices whereby craniums cry

voicing asphyxiated screams.

there are fans which dissipate;

which must, however be turned toward the mist.

they don’t function in fury, propelling only from a peaceful vantage;

absent this, there is a significant measure of mist, rising; absent, there is a fog. * 6/23 - lebuc - fog

one mere day

* ...a person, a position, perspective or some purpose -

myriad reasons to stay or go from a space.

the tidals which pull upon one’s innards surge, ebb & never relent, tho unfailingly gentle so as not to leave it rent;

that's best left to an indeterminate head & heart unfocused.

but believe you, me - act & believe me, you - that

there is more ‘isness’ than any one mere day* can handle;

more, even than many such days. so live.   love.    something.    someone.   everyday; or at least - for one more mere day. * 6/23 - lebuc - one mere day

* Father's Day/Juneteenth weekend

wild outside

* let's catch some rays & ions in the wild outside - on green grass or sand floors, where there's not to be found any barred gates or closed doors;

instead we stan brightness, spanning a commanding sky pre-night light to help ease our souls out of their fabricated shells & you know that’s alright.

dwellings, tho useful,  shield us from friendly cosmic emanations immersing all inhabitants on planets... stars, nations... 

tho we've yet to actually see a star-child, we'd be loath to assume we're the only adults in galaxy’s room all this while.

we deny this at our peril, placing a conceptual ceiling on our true home   & the soul healing suffused in that vast, unending haven;

freeing us from petty vexations, while our self-reflection relaxes  on a much-needed vacation. * 4/23 - lebuc - wild outside

inoculation

* a time span has its particular preoccupation

& living through smears you with its goo - sounds like glue - just not as sticky, gelatinous

& will attach to you if not forcibly removed.

a change of clothing & of mind is often needed

or others may recognize if you aren't newly outfitted.

my plan is to attempt an inoculation;

cover my being with a reflective tarp,                      become time's asymptote, unfettered by the span.

so, what era is clinging to you, right now? * 6/23 - lebuc - inoculation

consume

* we ingest literally, figuratively

many species' life force, our own...

span the plant & animal kingdom, vegetables, creatures of the deep blue.

...& when they fight back in their habitat, we deem them wild predators without empathy, whom we’re reluctant to peacefully co-exist with outside of capturing them in cages or behind bars

should extra terrestrials be found would they sate us?

or their life force transform,

elevating us into another dimension, some higher phase?  

...as we typically believe that flesh has a higher nutritional value & is a cheaper source of sustenance or life energy, requiring less capital expenditure to make & maintenance to keep

because it seems a given that we would somehow, in some way  consume them

...once our thought leaders determine & legislate that they are alien to us in form, customs & language, then deems them enemies; a threat to our way of life & continued existence

...or be consumed * * 7/23 - lebuc - consume

* should they think like we do...
