Quick overview

After a year of waiting Camilla joins the rest of her siblings at the beach, and decided to follow in Corrins style bringing her wyvern and a blue tome along as well, well I guess more cocktail? Camilla boasts very nice offences, better than S Corrin though worse bulk than her. Combine this with an amazing tome and you have one deadly cocktail unit. Also on a side note Camilla’s art is drop dead gorgeous. 

Base kit

Camilla comes with Juciy wave which has built in desperation meaning she has an option to open her B slot to all sorts of options, which in this case she has flier formation which means she can teleport to nearby fliers and still hit hard. And excellent budget B slot especially considering she has hone fliers. Death blow is also nice putting her at 54 atk on iniation and goes well with draconic aura which allows her to deal decent damage and among her best special options.

+Mage fliers are still pretty rare

-Low bulk

-Limited time unit means hard to get set ivs or merge

-Has to fight not only S Corrin but F Morgan who is in the permanent summoning pool.

Partners

NY Azura provides a great boost to her offence providing her honefliers in return and the ability to move again. However any flier really is nice, but units like Beruka offer the ability to tank hits for her, as do units like Palla and Tana.

Camilla is an amazing mage unit with Juicy wave alone, and allows her to open her B slot up to other skills. Flierformation is great for flier teams but otherwise Vantage is going to provide and nice option to be a dual phase unit. Combine this with Fury and you have a winning unit most of the time. Chill skills are also valid here however due to the fact that she lacks access to things like wrath which is a shame. 

Beauty and the blade

Blarblade+, reposition, glimmer

Slot A = Fury, life and death

Slot B = desperation

Slot C = any c slot

Sacred seals: Heavy blade, guidance, spd+3

Camilla is hands down the best blue blarblade unit for fliers thanks to a whopping 36 speed, 39 with a speed boon, she's able to secure doubles easily and thus can make the best use out of the weapon. Combine this with her ability to gain flier buffs so easily or be on a mixed team she hasn't got much problem bar getting into desperation range to begin with. Heavy blade also makes this set sweeter as she can proc glimmer every other turn once in desperation range.

Quick overview

Linde continues to get tons of love with a brand new version of Aura!!! Yay! While Linde may have lost title of best offensive blue mage on foot too Ishtar, Linde far excels her in general well rounded ability to be offensive and support, while Ishtar has odd atk wave Linde can use a spd wave if she wanted and buff relevant allies for 2 stats at +6. I’m so happy Linde is getting the love she deserves, I just wish I had orbs to summon.

Base kit

Linde comes with Aura which has a built in breath of life two built into it, while she can also upgrade it to dark aura, which gives +6 to adjacent allies wielding swords, lances, axes or dragonstones. She now has a fancier new version which does the same but for magic allies, including staves, and when refined, if in 2 spaces of magic units will gain +5atk/spd herself which is nuts. All weapons are very useful, one can be used for healing support, while the others allow for her to become a supreme buff bot, and potential nucular warhead, but regardless of which route you take she’ll hit like a truck. Speed +3 is a solid budget option, while fortify res is nice for buff teams but you may desire other skills. Ardent sacrifice is her final skill and its great to help her get into things like desperation range.

As for B slots, desperation is the perfect choice for her, meanwhile something like iceberg for the special is advised.

Partners

Really Linde works well on any team but brave users whop can receive dark aura buffs make a good start as would any melee weapon welding unit. Tanks also appreciate her ability to heal them with Aura sets. However Linde does need melee protection so any tank can protect her from strong physical hits. With the addition of Upgrade Aura, units like Olwen can also get a buff but any mage as well, staff units like Elise can also appreciate this and keep linde healthly if she ever needed to be.

Slot B = desperation/wings of mercy

Slot C = breath of life

Sacred seals: breath of life

Weapon refinery: None just normal Aura

With this set, your aim is to heal allies, with aura and double breath of life you heal for 19hp each turn you attack. On top of this you are still a powerful maiden on the battlefield, and as such can abuse desperation to sweep through foes, however you can use wings of mercy to fly to injured allies to guarantee healing.

Umbran Healer

Suggested ivs: +Atk/spd -def/hp

Dark Aura, ardent sacrifice/rally skill, iceberg

Slot A = fury, swift sparrow, life and death

Slot B = desperation

Slot C = hone speed, any hone/fortify or tactic skills

Sacred seals: hone or fortify skills

By swapping her weapon and C/Sacred slots, Linde goes from hp healer to stat stacker. She can under the right situation buff a unit by +20, though it requires them to be affected by dark aura. She’s a great candidate for a tactic skill because of her weapon, though only on mixed teams, if you’re looking for one.

Slot B = desperation

Slot C = Any c skill

Sacred seals: spd+3, atk+3,heavy blade

Weapon refinery: The bonus  atk/spd for Aura is nice, there’s no reason to pick this as if you don’t have a unit to be near you probs won’t be using its passive effect.

Finally Linde can excel with magic allies, buffing them and herself to amazing heights. I’m not gonna dablle too much here, I feel it speaks for it’s self.

Thoughts on best Waifu? I know she’s +atk and minus is either def or hp. Might change the spd ploy into def ploy cause she normally has at least +1 spd then most units and the -5 def would be great against everything especially armor.

Yeah def ploy is pretty nice on her, def and spd ploy tho is another thing to consider. Otherwise she’s solid!

I still don’t really know what I’m doing half the time with FEH…but I usually use this as a solid team, and swap out either Chrom or Camus with Hector if it’s needed (Cause Love Abounds Hector is awesome, I have him with distant counter, wary fighter, def smoke and quickened pulse) Do you have any advice on where I should strengthen any of them? Does this combination make sense? 

Nah it’s a solid team!

Olivia you can change her weapon or give her fury as well, chrom does well with heavy blade, prisicilla does well with dazzling staff, and if you can Pain but any staff is nice, and camus ideally wants fury too.

I know you said you don’t accept Arena team submissions on Sunday or Monday, but this is actually for next week’s season (17th - 23rd) that I’m getting an early start on so I hope it’s okay?

Hinoka: +HP, -atk Lyn: +res, -def Takumi: +spd, -atk Felicia: +spd, -atk

…yeah…

I didn’t have most of the skill fodder from the guides so I tried to make due as cheaply as I could (meaning no sacrificing five star units except for Takumi’s Brave Bow). My intention is to use Takumi’s Res Wave to boost Felicia (they are also supported together). Lyn’s Spd Tactic and Hinoka’s Hone Fliers are mainly for Takumi’s sake to try to let him quad as often as possible. I might give the Flier Formation seal to Hinoka so that she isn’t just a place for the others to teleport to, but since there’s only one other flier on this team it might be better to use a different seal. I would put Phantom Spd on Takumi but I’m afraid of how low his attack will be, plus it’s already on Alm who I use a lot more often and I’ll probably forget to move it back after the season’s over.

Okay first off phantom speed will do nothing for Takumi it’s only good on sweep units, or unit like SF Nino and Ayra and Karla whose weapons rely and work with it. Atk +3 is the best choice you could have made! Desperation is what you’re really missing but breakers work just as well! As for Hinoka I say go for, she can warp to Takumi to guarantee the buffs and the ability for her to allow him to abuse the spur bonuses. And you can do some crazy movement plays.

Keep at it and you’ll have a solid budget team in no time!

I’d check the guide from yesterday since she can use most lances, but desperation is a nice choice for B slots.
