Janus sat at the top, staring down at the wraith, amused, stretching his wings a bit to show off. “It helps if you don’t fall as much.”

Time-Lost Neighbor
The secluded mountain ranges north of Uschtenheim weren’t too difficult to traverse - it was the howling winds that chilled the poor boy. Because of the shivering blows, it forced Zekiel to shorten his flights into flutters and glides, hopping from rock to rock. It was the best - and safest - way to reach Janos’ retreat. Journeying through the mountains wasn’t the dangerous part - the cold stone were stable enough - but the roaming Sarafan that went in search for his kin. He hoped the cold would deter their scouting.
After a day’s travel, Zekiel finally reached the looming balcony of Janos’ retreat. The boy fluttered up high to grasp the rails with his small talons, heaving up with grunts. Wings grew tired, yet he himself grew excited to meet with the vampire.
“M-Mr. Audron!” Zeke cried out with glee, pulling his whole body up over the rails. There was no particular reason to call Janos “Mr. Audron”, but out of respect for his elder along with a legendary figure. The eternal boy landed on with a soft thud, sitting to recollect himself and peer into the retreat.
There seem to be an...interesting figure.

((Feeling really tired today due to insomnia so I’m just hitting a few simple RPs, as I’m not feeling too confident in my writing in this state.))
“Let’s turn around. Hunt somewhere else.” - blue-shifted
His brother’s suggestion brought a stubborn grunt, though subtle it was. Their hunting grounds grew barren over the years, not just of wildlife but feral humans that wished to reside in seclusion from the Empire’s rise.
Leather clad arms crossed as Turel studied across the grounds. “Let us give the hunt another hour. I’m certain there’s at least one life roaming.”

"I can't say, it was a stranger who told me to." It hit them, suddenly, how suspicious that must have sounded. "I can't fathom why," they hurried out, "I don't know you. Er, I would trust them not to send me to someone who would harm me."

“What’s the meaning of this?” Turel grunted out, digging his feet down in a solid stance to prevent being knocked down. All he sees is a furious short man attempting to push a mountain. As the force grew relentless, an arm extended to grasp Raziel’s head, forming a considerable distance between them.
“Care to tell me, brother?”

16. Punch in the face
Turel wasn’t too sure if it was intentional, but the punch left his nose broken and bloody. Splatter of crimson hit the ground within the sparring room, hand too painted while wiping his face ‘clean’. With a loud snap from the wound, fingers bringing the nose back to its location, and a growl rattling in his throat, an intense gaze stared back to his brother.
“Dirty shot...I’ll make sure you’ll regret that.”
