“I’m planning on a machine to secure our defenses - sending a barrage of bolts to a triggered location. Because apparently beings of unknown origins continue to intrude within my chambers!”

Turel stared at them, hinting that they should leave before he beings slaughtering.

You really hate Raziel, don’t you? Were you jealous of him? Glad that he was executed and that you had a hand in casting him away directly? You’re one of the more petty brothers, aren’t you.

“Raziel had struck nerves the past years, but that was just who he was. We had our rivalry but it never brought complete hostility or grudges - at the very least from me. I follow Lord Kain’s orders to the last letter - has always been since I was born. It did not mean I relished in his execution.”

A taloned hand waved for the guards to arrest the anonymous antagonist and bound them in chains. Though walking away, Turel’s head turned, eyes piercing. “Have their tongue removed for their intrusion and hang them for the blood to drain. My children will need their strength.”

His brother’s suggestion brought a stubborn grunt, though subtle it was. Their hunting grounds grew barren over the years, not just of wildlife but feral humans that wished to reside in seclusion from the Empire’s rise.

Leather clad arms crossed as Turel studied across the grounds. “Let us give the hunt another hour. I’m certain there’s at least one life roaming.”

The stoic, immovable man remained still with arms crossed, looking down to the flustered spider. A deep rumble responded.

“Then why are we here.” Loomed closer to Zephon, “We’ll remove ourselves to somewhere…more privet.”

Letting out something more akin to a chirp than a gasped of pleasant surprise Zephon popped his neck, removing the heaviest outer-layers of his many-robe ensemble before opening his hand.

“Carry me. I’m yours…”

His stone features broke into a pleased smirk, oozing with a twist of affection. Strong arms scooped the Zephonim lord from his feet, muscles felt of iron under his thick skin. Turel cooed before whisking Zephon away.
