Ted took another few seconds to look around, then looked at Booster like he was massively shocked. “Ohhhh, are YOU the clever?” He said, grinning. “I was so convinced it was gonna be something on tv. Or even that table lamp there.” He clapped a hand on Booster’s shoulder playfully.

“And yeah - Whitney. Ugh.” He flopped back on the couch.

“Why, you little --!!” The second the other sat down, Booster grabbed Ted and put him in a playful headlock.  He grinned, noogie-ing the others head like a big brother might. “You’re such a smartass. You didn’t even listen to my clever-ness!” After a moment of devilish laughter from Booster, he laid  off. “-- Don’t matter now, though. Did you win against Whitney?”
