Quest for the Best

     "Um, Kurayami-san? Am I doing this right?" Makoto motions to the bowl of chocolate pieces that are slowly, but surely in the process of melting under the heat of the boiling water it's resting in. "They don't seem to be melting.." He wasn't too sure of what he was doing since this was pretty much the first time he's ever tried to make homemade chocolates. The two of them had been paired up to make the sweet treats as a team in the school-wide "Best-Handmade-Chocolate Making" Competition. So here they were, in one of the empty home econ rooms practicing.

"Excuse me!! I'm looking for the Cap of the Swimming Club!!" a Chubby and short black haired girl appeared in fron of the third year class.

At the mention of the Swimming Club, Makoto's head perked up from where he sat reading a book. 

"Ah, that's me. Can I help you?" He stood up from his desk and walked over to the door to greet the stranger looking for him.

Today is Pocky Day(11/11), and my muse is eating a pocky! Send “Pocky” for my muses reaction to yours biting down on the other end of the pocky!

There was nothing unusual about today. Sousuke was walking along side the beach with his friend Marina while nibbling on some pocky Kisumi had given him. He’d offered her some and they’d been sharing as they walked. “What?” He asked, turning to face her because he wasn’t sure he’d heard what she’d said and that was when she leaned up and bit the other end of the stick. Sousuke’s reaction was almost instantaneous as he let go of the pocky stick and blushed.

A chubby and quite tall girl with purple eyes, black hair and light tanned skin was walking alone and listening to classical music, while she was looking to the windows, when she bumped someone. "I'm sorry! I didn't see you..." she said, blushing.

Kisumi wiggled his eyebrows, leaning a tad closer to her “How come you didn’t see me. You must be really distracted, hm? It’s dangerous to walk around listening to music like that, if you bumped into me imagine what could happen when you’re crossing the street.” He gave her a wide grin “What are you listening?” He pointed her earbuds.

"I’m really sorry… I didn’t expect to see you here" she said with a soft spoken voice. She was a little scared, because he was almost 40 cms. taller than her. "By the way, my name is Marina, nice to meet you" she was really happy too, He was the first man who didn’t make fun of her hair color.

"I’m… Yamazaki. Or, well, Sousuke. Should I leave?"
