This isn’t a question but I love love love this show And was wondering, about what was Sully during the time he deserted the army and before he met Dr. Mike

That’s sort of a gray area timeline-wise for me.  I don’t know if he came out west looking for gold/to be a miner before or after he deserted.  Either way, he made his home in the general area of Colorado Springs and met his wife.  They married and were together for a little while before her and the baby died.  I believe it was after their deaths that Sully connected with the Cheyenne and sort of transformed into this mountain man that we know Sully to be.  He trapped for furs and did odd jobs for people in the area and was involved in Indian relations.

Anyone with more to add... feel free to correct me or fill in the blanks.  I don’t think the show was really all that specific about his timeline but maybe I’m just not remembering the specifics.
