26 Aug 2016. Day 26 #ChallengeBookamajig: Bookish Wave. There’s something so soothing about blue books and bookish waves. I was up for part of the night coughing up a storm but at least I seem to be cycling through the sickness quite quickly and I've been able to spend more and more time sightseeing. A more relaxing day is in order now! A late start, a trip to Versailles and then the Arc de Triomphe and Champs-Élysées. What's the weather like where you are? It's been ridiculously hot in Paris the last few days. We have weather like this in Brisbane but usually when it reaches 35 or 36 degrees (Celsius) there's at least a summer storm to cool things down a bit. No cane toads here, though! Still answering tags. Today I'm gonna finish all of them in my list. I hope! Love that box with the sun. I painted it many years ago, one of my first painted works on wood, it's not very polished but a girl had to start somewhere. I'm a better painter now, I think.
