What was the bronycon orgy of 2012?

in 2012 there was (supposedly) an orgy at bronycon,

people talked about it for about 3 hours and it was all over then died down as quickly as it blew up. i only remember it well because it was the first time i made a text post with more than 100 notes which it got in about 30 minutes. 

it was sparked because someone in the brony community made a PSA warning anyone who attended the bronycon orgy that crabs were going around. a bunch of people jumped in confirming other’s disbelief that it did happen and claiming to have attended it. speculation and jokes about it flared up quickly and burned itself out. heres a bunch of examples of the sort of jokes being made about it (via my own tag and knowyourmeme’s gallery)

heres a thread made about it warning about the STD spread 

i think it was concluded to be fake, but i can’t find any reliable source on that. 

anyways, if it did happen, any kids conceived at bronycon orgy 2012 will be 3 years old by this point :^)

Ok I get what you said about pearl and it makes sense, but if rose has loved other humans shouldn't pearl know that Greg wouldn't be around for long and have no reason to put him down? She probably had to put up with rose falling in love with humans before and probably longer than a couple of months. She seemed to be doing it more to rub it in his face than out of being hurt that rose fell in love with him. She only seemed sad about them falling in love at the end of the episode.

Well I’m pretty sure that when Greg asked Rose if she was ever in love with another human she asked how she would know. She said she LOVED other humans, because it’s Rose and Rose has to love humans enough to actually defend their planet, ya know?

As for your “rub it in his face” point, and her not seeming sad until the end of the episode; Rose was still talking (and singing) to Greg in a way that sounded like Greg was nothing more to her than any other human in the beginning, that she LOVED him but wasn’t IN LOVE with him. Once Pearl and the other were listening in on Greg and Rose’s date, that was when Pearl knew for certain that they were in love, which of course would be when her outer demeanor changed to sadness. Up until hearing and seeing it herself from Rose (though indirectly because Rose was talking with Greg), Pearl had hope that Greg and Rose would just be a phase, but it clearly wasn’t.
